If you take a closer look at the product hunt day rank, you'll notice that the top 3 products each day receive a disproportionately high number of upvotes compared to other listings. the products ranked fourth and below these days are all around or under 100 upvotes. Greater transparency is needed into how upvotes are accrued to maintain integrity.
